I recently had the absolute pleasure of capturing Catryce and Reese’s intimate elopement at the beautiful Lake Quinault Lodge, WA. It was a day filled with love, joy, and a refreshing disregard for tradition that made it all the more special! Catryce and Reese are those kinds of people who live life on their own terms. They knew they wanted a small, intimate elopement that truly reflected their personalities and their relationship. And what better place than their favorite lakeside lodge? It was simply perfect!

They chose to get ready together on their big day. Yes, you read that right! They threw tradition out the door and decided to share those precious moments leading up to their ceremony. It was such a beautiful, intimate start to their day. Next came the vows. Under a blanket of lush, green forest, they read their vows to each other. The words were heartfelt and genuine, and you could feel the love between them. The ring exchange was equally emotional, and that first kiss? Absolutely magical!
But the day didn’t end there. Oh no! Catryce and Reese spent the rest of the day exploring the grounds of the lodge. We captured some breathtaking portraits amidst the natural beauty of the lodge’s surroundings. It was a perfect backdrop for this adventurous, fun-loving couple. This wasn’t just an elopement. It was a classic, intimate celebration of two people deeply in love. It was about connection, emotion, and most importantly, having fun! And I must say, there were definitely some old Hollywood vibes sprinkled throughout the day!
