The morning began in the dreamiest way, just the two of them in their glass cabin, watching the skies shift over the lava fields. The cabin’s floor-to-ceiling windows created the most peaceful backdrop for their slow morning together. Izzy & Britt helped each other get ready, shared laughs, and soaked in every quiet moment before stepping into their wedding attire. It was the perfect way to begin their adventure-filled day!

There’s something so intimate about doing a first look in such a secluded space. With nothing but rolling hills and open skies around them, Izzy & Britt shared their first look outside of the cabin. The checkered windows reflected the moody skies while their emotions took center stage. This moment set the tone for the rest of the day, quiet, emotional, and full of anticipation.
Into the Highlands: The 4×4 Adventure
After their cozy morning, it was time for adventure. They hopped into a Defender and made their way into the Icelandic Highlands. Driving along gravel roads surrounded by volcanic landscapes, the journey itself felt cinematic. When it came time for vows, the Highlands delivered in every way. Jagged lava rock, moss-covered hills, and a still crater lake created a surreal atmosphere. Izzy & Britt stood side by side, wind tugging at her gown, his hand steady in hers, and promised forever with nothing but nature as their witness. An Iceland Highlands elopement doesn’t need much decoration, the land itself feels like a cathedral. It was raw, emotional, and deeply moving to capture!

The next morning, we ventured to one of Iceland’s hidden gems, Seljavallalaug Geothermal Pool. Tucked into a green valley with mountains towering all around, it was the perfect spot to let loose after their wedding day. Izzy & Britt jumped in, splashed each other, and reveled in the joy of being newlyweds. A day-after session gives couples the chance to celebrate without a timeline, and for these two, it was pure fun and freedom!
