You’ll need to drive the Twin Lakes Road, which is unpaved and can be rough, especially in wet or snowy conditions. A high-clearance 4×4 vehicle is recommended, as the road can be challenging for standard cars! Once you reach the Twin Lakes trailhead, the hike to the lookout is about 3.4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of approximately 1,300 feet. It’s a moderate hike, suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness. Along the way, you’ll pass through lush forests, alpine meadows, and stunning views that make the journey just as stunning as the destination!!

Spring (May-June)

Spring brings blooming wildflowers and new life to the North Cascades. While the trail may still have some snow, the vibrant colors of the season make it a beautiful time to elope. However, be prepared for unpredictable weather and check road conditions before heading out!
