There is something so beautiful about eloping. The intimacy, the freedom, the authenticity – it all ends in a day that’s a true representation of you guys’ relationship. I had the pleasure of capturing an intimate and intentional elopement for Sadie and Anthony, as they eloped in Old Forge, New York. Accompanied by their four dogs, this day was a beautiful reflection of their love and shared passion for the outdoors!
Sadie and Anthony’s Intimate and Intentional Elopement
Their day began at Nick’s Lake, a serene spot chosen by Sadie and Anthony themselves! The lakeside backdrop was perfect because they wanted their elopement location to be meaningful and familiar. All four of their dogs were present, this added a sense of home and warmth to the ceremony. It was beautiful to witness – the dogs sitting on mom’s dress train, watching the ducks in the water, or simply observing their parents say their “I do’s”!
Following the ceremony, Sadie and Anthony shared some coffee and muffins with their family – their parents, siblings, and best friend. Only the most important people in their lives were present, making their celebration extra special. My mom was the one who married them as we are both ordained. The environment was filled with love and laughter! After lunch, Sadie and Anthony changed into custom tee shirts and we set out for a hiking adventure up Bald Mountain! This was more than just a hike – it was a celebration of their love for each other and for the outdoors. The hike was playful, fun, and a perfect way to cap off an already fantastic day!
